Using the Bonus Images in Easy Sketch Pro
Easy Sketch Pro accepts images in the following formats: PNG, BMP, JPG, JPEG, GIF and SVG.
Most of these images are provided in more than one format. Where PNG is available, that is usually the best one to choose for Easy Sketch Pro.
Many of the bonus images are only provided in AI and TIFF format, neither of which is recognised by Easy Sketch Pro. To use these images, you first need to convert them to a suitable format.
There is an excellent free tool for doing that at http://image.online-convert.com
This provides a whole range of different file conversions. Usually, the best one to choose is 'Convert image to PNG'.
When you have chosen the image format you want, just click on the 'Choose File' button and locate your image. For 'Quality settings', choose 'Best quality'. Click on 'Convert file' and your file will be converted. This may take a few seconds.
Once the conversion process is complete, your new file will be automatically downloaded to your default download folder and you can use it in Easy Sketch Pro.
You will also find that many of the downloaded image files consist of multiple images which you will want to split into individual images for use in Easy Sketch Pro.
A great free tool for doing this (and all sorts of other image manipulation) is http://pixlr.com/editor.
Click on 'Open image from computer' and select your image. Now select the 'Crop Tool' (top left in the tool box on the left of the screen) and use it to draw a rectangle around the part of the image you want to use. Press 'Enter' and the image will be cropped.
Now click on the 'File' menu and select 'Save'. Give your image a new name (you do not want it to overwrite the original image) and click on 'OK'. Choose a location for the new image and click 'Save'. Your new image is now ready for use in Easy Sketch Pro.
These are large files, so please be patient while they download.
